This carbon fiber exhaust pipe is made of Toray T800 grade carbon fiber precursor from Japan, formed through vacuum hot pressing and combined with high-temperature resistant resin. It breaks the industry limitation that “decoration is more important than practicality”. With the core design concept of “lightweight + low back pressure + high temperature resistance”, it not only reduces the load on the vehicle body but also optimizes the exhaust airflow path, enhancing the engine’s power response. Designed specifically for the extreme exhaust conditions of racing cars

1. Super high temperature resistance, calmly dealing with high exhaust gas temperatures

It is formed by compounding high-purity T1100 grade carbon fiber with high-temperature resistant phenolic resin, creating a stable high-temperature resistant structure that can withstand continuous high-temperature impacts ranging from 800℃ to 1200℃, with an instantaneous temperature tolerance of up to 1500℃. Even under the high-speed conditions of racing cars, when the exhaust gas temperature exceeds 1000℃, there is no carbonization or deformation on the inner wall of the exhaust pipe. This solves the pain points of high-temperature oxidation and weld cracking of traditional stainless steel exhaust pipes, and the service life is more than three times longer than that of metal exhaust pipes.

2. Ultimate lightweight, reducing the vehicle’s load

The density of carbon fiber material is only 1.6g/cm³, which is 60% to 70% lighter than that of stainless steel exhaust pipes of the same specification. Taking the 600mm long exhaust pipe commonly used in racing cars as an example, its weight can be controlled within 0.8kg, significantly reducing the unsprung mass of the vehicle body. Lightweight design can reduce power loss and enhance the vehicle’s acceleration response speed. Through actual tests, racing cars equipped with carbon fiber exhaust pipes can shorten the 0-100 km/h acceleration time by 0.2 to 0.3 seconds, significantly improving the handling flexibility at high speeds.

3. Excellent corrosion resistance, suitable for complex track environments

The carbon fiber matrix has extremely strong chemical stability. After being treated with a nano-ceramic coating on the surface, it can resist the erosion of corrosive gases such as sulfides and nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas, and at the same time withstand harsh environments such as rain and mud on the track. After passing the 500-hour salt spray test and the 200-hour high-temperature corrosion test, the surface of the exhaust pipe shows no rust or peeling, and the performance retention rate is over 95%, avoiding the problem of increased exhaust resistance caused by corrosion in traditional metal exhaust pipes.

4. Low exhaust resistance enhances power output

By adopting fluid mechanics optimization design and combining with the precision forming process of carbon fiber materials, the inner wall roughness of the exhaust pipe is controlled below Ra0.8μm, which is much lower than the Ra3.2μm of stainless steel exhaust pipes. The smooth inner wall can reduce the resistance of exhaust gas flow, increase exhaust efficiency by 15% to 20%, help the engine expel more exhaust gas, reduce the residual exhaust gas in the cylinder, and thereby enhance the engine’s power and torque. Professional bench tests have shown that the maximum power of racing engines equipped with this exhaust pipe can be increased by 3% to 5%.
