Ce projet tient compte de la direction du vent. Pour \u00eatre pr\u00e9cis, le projet Windstalk de Masdar se compose de 1 203 m\u00e2ts \u00e9oliens, qui sont ancr\u00e9s \u00e0 une hauteur de 55 m\u00e8tres au-dessus du sol. Le diam\u00e8tre de leur base en b\u00e9ton est compris entre 10 et 20 m\u00e8tres.<\/p>\n<p>Les tiges visibles sont constitu\u00e9es de tiges en r\u00e9sine renforc\u00e9e de fibres de carbone, avec un diam\u00e8tre inf\u00e9rieur de 30 centim\u00e8tres et un diam\u00e8tre sup\u00e9rieur de 5 centim\u00e8tres. Le sommet du m\u00e2t est \u00e9quip\u00e9 d'une lumi\u00e8re LED, qui peut ajuster la luminosit\u00e9 en fonction de la force du vent. Lorsqu'il n'y a pas de vent, le m\u00e2t reste immobile et les lumi\u00e8res s'\u00e9teignent.<\/p>\n<p>Le fond des tiges se touche, formant un tissu semblable \u00e0 un tapis. Autre fait int\u00e9ressant, le bas de la tige a la forme d'un vortex elliptique. Lorsque l'eau de pluie glisse le long de ces poteaux, elle glisse sur la pente du bas et s'accumule dans les espaces entre les poteaux, ce qui permet aux plantes de pousser \u00e0 l'\u00e9tat sauvage.<\/p>\n<p>Comment fonctionnent ces parcs \u00e9oliens ?<\/p>\n<p>Contrairement \u00e0 ce que l'on pourrait croire, ces parcs \u00e9oliens ne d\u00e9pendent pas uniquement du vent pour faire tourner les turbines et produire de l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Dans ce type de parc \u00e9olien, les poteaux se balancent sous l'effet du vent et la pile de disques pi\u00e9zo\u00e9lectriques est comprim\u00e9e, ce qui g\u00e9n\u00e8re un courant \u00e0 travers les \u00e9lectrodes. Tous ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments sont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re visuelle pour montrer l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9e par le m\u00e2t.
